4. Furniture and seating

Ever been at a party and you just couldn’t find anywhere to sit?

It’s annoying to say the least.

You might not think of seating as an essential party supply, but it is. Many of your guests will want to stand and mingle, but there will be times when they just want to take a break.

Make sure there are enough chairs and easily accessible seating areas for your guests to relax and unwind whenever they feel the need.

Those cozy chairs tucked in the corner can be a great spot for an untimate conversation and that cushy couch can be ideal for group conversations.

Don’t forget the tables for all of your snacks and beverages. They should be placed out of the way, but easily accessible for your guests.

7. bathroom supplies and cleaning supplies

It might not be glamorous, but you can’t ignore bathroom and cleaning supplies if you want your party to be memorable for the right reasons.

Make sure your bathroom is well stocked with toilet paper, hand soap and hand towels. There’s no quicker way to disappoint a guest than to leave them standard in the bathroom searching in vain for toilet paper!

The same goes for cleaning supplies.

Have lots of paper towels on hand, cleaning wipes for quick spill cleanup and air freshner on hand just in case.

Trash bags are a must as well. Every great party comes with the inevitable celanup.

8. Miscellaneous items

At this point you’re probably thinking we’ve covered all of the essentials for a killer party, but not quite. There are a few more miscllaneous items you’ll want to stock up on.

Make sure you have lots of coat hangers, closet space or a coat rack and an easily accessible shoe rack or mat near the door.

In a pinch you can use a bedroom for coats, but it’s not an ideal setup.

Don’t forget to have first aid supplies readily available as well. Nobody wants an accident at a party, but you should be prepared just in case.

One more thing, consider setting up a guest login for your WiFi. It’s a great courtesy to your guests if they don’t have to use their data while they’re enjoying a beverage at your epic party.

Remember to always plan ahead foe every eventuality. As you stock up on supplies, consider your guest count and any dietary restrictions your guests might have.
